Smarter and more individual —
the Long Night of Architecture in 2017
The night tours are very popular: Architecture enthusiasts in front of the Highlight Towers in Munich-Schwabing
The Long Night of Architecture website has had a recent makeover: The site now responds on all devices, and interactive maps allow visitors to put together their own tours of the city. Visitors can then share the tours they select on social media, send them out by e-mail or even save them offline.
Interactive maps allow visitors to customize their tours.
The Long Night of Architecture is also represented on Facebook, and it will be on the photo platform Instagram soon. News about participating buildings and tours will be posted on these channels on a regular basis. Besides joining the digital world, the Long Night of Architecture will also feature some other new elements. For example, for the first time ever, the foot route through downtown Munich will also be available as a guided tour.
In the future, the Long Night of Architecture will also be on Instagram.
In 2017, the exclusive VIP tours will be organized as theme tours.
Thanks to the Long Night of Architecture, the trade fair BAU has managed to establish an event for all of Munich. At the last Long Night of Architecture during BAU 2015, a good 30,000 architecture enthusiasts marveled at Munich’s most beautiful buildings including the HVB Tower, Siemens Headquarters at Wittelsbacherplatz and the Osram Lighthouse.
